East of England Agricultural Society General Championship Dog Show

Due to moving house we have only had the time to attend a few shows so far this year, but we managed to take ourselves to the East of England Show held at the Showground, Peterborough, where we had a nice sunny day, apart from a couple of very heavy downpours, that sent us all rushing for shelter. Fortunately the show rings were covered. Theoben Glorious Piece At Eazywish (Magnus) did really well receiving a Second in the Post Graduate class under Judge Mrs Gill Davies (Kenbru) who had a very good entry of 146 with few absentees.

Critique Post Graduate Dog: "2 Blackie's Theoben Glorious Piece at Eazywish, a fully mature 3 yr old. A size larger than first. A lot to like about him. This dog has a well shaped clean head with beautiful eyes, good mouth, well sized and spaced teeth, clearly visible chin."

2014

London & Home Counties Boxer Club Championship Show

This show as usual is held at Woking Leisure Centre and is a very nice show to attend. It is benched, which is a huge bonus, and there is now covered parking right opposite the entrance. Theoben Glorious Piece At Eazywish (Magnus) came along on his own, as Theoben Bentie's Boy At Eazywish (Rover) was feeling rather under the weather and had to be left behind. Maritha Oestlund-Holmsten (Teamwork) came over from Sweden to Judge the Dogs. She is well known to the British Boxer fraternity, as she has judged in the UK on three previous occasions. Nadia Maddocks (Khashan) judged the Bitches, and the two judges between them had a very good entry of 225. Magnus did really well gaining a Second in Post Graduate Dog.

Critique Post Graduate Dog: "2 Blackie's Theoben Glorious Piece At Eazywish. A rather big dog, short in his body, strong and in good condition. A bit heavy head and cheeky. A head with good profile and good proportions. Good denture. Strong body with well marked forechest, good top- and underline. Good bone, well angulated and moves well."
